Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga where asanas or poses are held for extended periods of time, typically three to five minutes per pose. Yin Yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body.  The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibilty as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint area.  Yin yoga is perfect for the beginner or the novice

Chair Yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and or with the aid of a chair. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice. This is the perfect practice for anyone who has sustained an injury or has a hard time with floor poses or with balance issues.

Restorative Yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. During the holds of restorative yoga however your muscles are allowed to relax deeply.  Its unique feeling because props, rather then your muscles, are used to support your body.  Restorative Yoga is wonderful for every body type!
